Notes from my students
My little treasures to remind me that I chose the right vocation!
From a former student / I was surprised when a sibling dropped this off for me. It was then, when I realized I did my job... I made a difference! (Above is the note and the front is a beautiful painting by him)

Homework Hero
One of the goals in third grade is to teach students to be more responsible. I understand that there will be times my students will misplace their homework or will be absent from school. I created a binder that contains all the homework and classwork for the week. I encourage my students to be responsible by taking the binder to the office on their "own time" to make copies. The binder cover walks them through the process.

Third Grade Class Folder
This is one of the most important organizational tools in my classroom. I call it the SUPER folder. The SUPER folder holds all my students' work. This is a great way for me to help my students sort their paperwork for both home and school. This is one way for me to communicate with parents and guardians; as well as, a way for them to send notes, forms and money to school.
Super stands for:
S - Store all papers in the proper pockets
U - Unload your "Leave at Home" papers at home and show it off!
P - Pocket labeled "Bring Back" is for papers to return to school
E - Every student is responsible for communication between school and home
R - Remember to read and check your folder daily and bring it to school every day
